OUR RESTAURANT
Born and raised in Mâcon, I did my training at the Dumaine College. As a Europro student, I have developed professional and linguistic skills in German. I learned the jobs of a cook, a sommelier, a waiter, a butler… During my studies, I was
an apprentice at Georges Blanc’s “Moulin du Gastronome” in Weingarten, Germany. My work has taken me to Chenonceaux, to the Maison des Vins de Mâcon, to the restaurant Les Maritonnes in Romanèche-Thorins, to the Hostellerie de Levernois in Beaune (5 star Relais et Châteaux). A varied and very enriching career.
After 25 years of being an employee, I wanted to become my own boss. For the past 2 years, I have continued my passion for the restaurant business in a small-scale establishment and La Table d’Alphonseallows me to blossom in the kitchen, to the delight of my customers.

My menu, “between bistro and gastronomy“, is composed as much as possible of seasonal products, coming from local producers. An approach that values this village full of history and typical of the Mâconnais.
To assist me, Loïc Da Costa takes care of the service in the dining room, and Rachel Corrandwho has been working at the inn for twenty-four years helps me in the kitchen.
The team welcomes you, throughout the year, at noon, from Tuesday to Sunday, as well as on Friday and Saturday evenings. And from the 2nd of May to the end of September, La Table d’Alphonse is also open on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
To help young people who want to enter this profession, I regularly take in
interns from the Dumaine high school for a real immersion in a professional environment.
